An I’m not a machine music update

Posted August 12, 2014

I’m not a machine music (INAMM) have been in attendance at the 10th annual Los Angeles Sync Mission learning a heap about sync licensing for TV/Film/Advertising/Video Games & meeting some of the individuals who select the music to license for these media. Alongside this we met other UK labels/publishers/music creators who joined the mission and brought a real richness and warmth to the week, as well as, of course, a passion for the music industry! If you’d like to read more, HERE is an article published in Music Week during the month of June.

Our artist Verity Pabla collaborated with Scottish/New Zealand electronica duo Modifier who have just signed to Glasgow based record label High Sheen and are now releasing their label debut vinyl in the form of EP ‘Haptic’. Verity features on ‘Under The Window’ which you can hear on the Modifier site or soundcloud. It’s a departure from Verity’s acoustic vibe and we’re proud to share one of her collaborations with our audience.

By the way, Verity’s Kindness Sessions blog continues over on her website so take a few minutes and head on over. See how our founder reflects upon the idea of kindness and find out how that weaves back into the fabric of our company I’m not a machine music.

We also have a brand new artist on INAMM in the form of drum n bass writer, vocalist, and producer Aria! Check out her vibe over on her artist page. We’ll be letting you know more about Aria in the weeks and months to come…

There’s plenty more to tell you so get signed up to the fortnightly email list now over on our homepage to be bang up to date with music news and inspiration from INAMM!
